Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving global trade landscape, Southeast Asia—powered by sustained economic growth and immense consumer potential—has emerged as a strategic frontier for Chinese enterprises expanding their global footprint. From August 7 to 9, 2025, the Liang Zhi Long (Vietnam) Global Food Trade Fair 2025 will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, concurrently with the 29th Vietfood Food&Beverage. Together, these events will create a professional and efficient platform for food and restaurant businesses across China, Vietnam, and the broader international market to connect and collaborate.

Co-hosted by Wuhan Liang Zhi Long Group, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, and internationally recognized trade associations, this year’s event is themed “Connecting the Core of Southeast Asia’s Ingredient Trade Network.” It seeks to integrate industry chain resources and policy benefits to foster high-quality trade exchange. The previous edition of the Vietnam International Food Expo attracted over 900 exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors, drawing strong participation from Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Building on that momentum, the 2025 edition will feature an expanded scope of exhibits—including seafood, ready-to-cook products, food processing machinery, and more—aligned with Vietnam’s position as the largest food import market in Southeast Asia.

On the policy front, the RCEP tariff preference mechanism continues to reduce cross-border trade costs, while this year’s expo is expected to attract over 100,000 global buyers. This powerful synergy of policy support and traffic volume will help exhibitors connect more efficiently with the Southeast Asian market.
A series of specialized events will be held during the trade fair, including the Vietnam Barista Championship, a Halal Food Market Access Seminar, and a Food Technology Summit. These programs will offer industry participants key insights into market trends and facilitate resource matchmaking. In addition, the fair will provide international media promotion, bilingual business services, and exhibition booth setup support, helping exhibitors maximize their efficiency in reaching global markets.

As a vital gateway for Chinese food and restaurant enterprises entering Southeast Asia, this trade fair will drive Chinese cuisine globalization and promote deep collaboration across the global food and hospitality supply chain—injecting new momentum into the industry’s international development.
